Elena Marco

Elena Marco is Associate Head of the Department of Architecture at the University of the West of England. An architect and educator, she built a strong profile in sustainable design at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios working on many pioneering and award-winning projects, some as part of Europe-wide research initiatives. Now in academia she continues to develop her research interests, focussing on the cross-over between health, sustainability and architecture. 

Working with architecture students, she has created work on the theme of a new memorial for the Avonmouth Mustard Gas Factory, which was on display at the exhibition Re-membering II at the Royal West of England Academy .
